When you run your process are you logged in as gaetan.quentin? Default configuration of process use walter.bates when deploying and executing a process from the Studio using the run button. You can change the user used by default in process configuration advanced configuration in “Authentication”. Or you can as well start the process with walter.bates logout and login back with gaetan.quentin.

Also note that actor mapping as a “OR” logic between groups, role, membership and users. Meaning that with your current configuration membership “Belongs to System having role member“ is redundant with the group myOrg/it/System. Also Note that user gaetan.quentin is not member of the group myOrg/it/System but only myOrg/it (group membership is not recursive). So I would recommend to choose amon the following configurations (only pick one) for your actor mapping:

  • groups: myOrg/it

  • membership: myOrg/it with role member

  • users: gaetan.quentin

After editing your organization did you publish (on the Bonita Studio embedded test environment) the new version of the organization? If not you can do it by doing a right click on the organization file in the project explorer and choose "Deploy".
You can test that your organization is successfully deployed by login in using walter.bates account, switch to administration view, go to Organization->Users menu and verify that your user gaetan.quantin is listed.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m closing this issue as there is no issue related to actor configuration and will open a new one in Bonitasoft internal bug tracker regarding the problem about password displayed in clear text when login failed when trying to run a process.
