Linux Mint 64 Bit
I try to reproduce on Debian stable (stretch) without any success.
A single click on the object name allow me to edit it.
When you initially create the object are you able to edit the default name (i.e. "BusinessObject1")?
Can you share the output of the following command: dpkg -l | grep gtk
Thanks
After some trial i figure that the edit field is working. Its just that it's doesnt seem to be edited.
Here my output:
Its look like a gui problem, probably linked to the gui lib but I don't have the problem in 7.8.1.
If i ignore the lineEdit widget, it seems to be working. I can change the object name. But its not intuitive.
With Bonita 7.9 the Studio is now built using a more recent version of Eclipse compare to Bonita 7.8. Issue might come from this update. I'll try to see if such issue also apply to Eclipse in order to find the potential root cause. I totally agree that it's not intuitive at all.
I was not able to reproduce but Bonita release 7.9.0 might fix this issue as it is based on more recent version of Eclipse.
